

Our Center consists of a public museum featuring two levels of exhibits and memorabilia,
as well as our Imagination Playground on our Lower Level.
Groups that walk-in without a prior confirmed reservation will be limited to a SELF-GUIDED tour.
The Arizona Challenger Space Center offers Space FUNdamentals , to provide fun activities for students to make the most of their Challenger experience for student/children’s groups.
Program availability varies seasonally. Student groups must pre-register with Challenger’s Education department by calling
Group discounts are available for senior groups, educational groups, community groups, special needs groups, and AAA Members. A group is defined as 10 or more adults. Groups must make reservations and can pay in advance, or pay per person ( $6.50 per person) the day of your tour.
Please contact our Education Department to schedule an adult group to visit the Arizona Challenger Space Center for an out-of this-world experience!
Guided tours include a tour of exhibits, holding a real meteorite and blasting off in the Earth-Space-Transport-Module!
Guided tours are offered courtesy of our volunteer docent tour guides, and most days we can offer tours multiple times throughout the day.
We are always happy when a group comes to visit us. However, we strongly recommend calling to book group tours in advance at, so that we can be sure we have the volunteers needed to accommodate your group.
In depth self-guided tours are also available with admission and describe in detail the history and significance of the exhibits on display.
