We offer a variety of special events and programs throughout the year, and each event's needs are a bit different therefore their sponsorship opportunities vary as well.
A few examples of these events are:
Anyone can adopt their favorite display and help in maintaining and upgrading it as needed. Perfect for those who have a specific interest and wish to see it preserved and treasured for years to come.
With more than 50,000 visitors a year, the Challenger finds that many exhibits are literally loved to pieces, so this category of sponsorship is vital to maintaining them in a manner befitting the tribute the Challenger was designed to be.
In order to provide field trips to Title One schools, the Center relies heavily on contributions from citizens and corporations who have chosen to commit themselves to make STEM education available to all of Arizona's children. These field trips help make the subject come alive to the students making it more than just a class but rather an enrichment. Our students often send us notes of thanks not just for the activities of the day, but for making them realize that Space and Technology is a possibility for their lives. Your help in being able to not only continue this vital program, but expand it would be greatly appreciated, not just by those of us at the Challenger but also by all of the teachers we work with across Arizona.
These incredible individuals and corporations make contributions that allow the Center to provide on-going services to students and visitors statewide. Their support help us with gap funding for a wide array of projects from bringing in new exhibits, facility rejuvenation and technology updates to expanding programming in economically-challenged communities.
These are in the form of either annual commitments or as significant one time gifts.
The Innovator's Society will be a brand new program for the Challenger, offering us the opportunity to expand our educational efforts to include additional programming for 13 - 103 year olds. Members of the Innovator's Society will have the chance to work with a wide range of cutting edge tools to turn their dreams into realities. We will also offer training and assistance on not only utilizing the equipment, but bringing together their concept and the steps to innovation in STEM.

The Missions are a signature experience at the Challenger, and our sponsors enable us to upgrade our simulators and add new programming, so that this key component of the Center remains fresh for visitors and students. Work in the simulator expands beyond STEM education to lessons in team work, communication and problem solving as well.
We offer several different ways your company can help us on our Mission to educate and inspire Arizona.
