Part museum, part activity center, the three-story, 23,000 sq. ft. facility is utilized for school field trips, corporate team building events, holiday parties, weddings, proms, anniversaries and just about any special occasion you can dream up.

Steel Foundation Rotunda: The Steel Foundation Rotunda can comfortably fit up to 258 people in a theater-style setting, and 200 banquet-style (rounds of 8). The room is equipped with a retractable screen for AV presentations. Microphones, speakers, and projector systems are available for additional fees. The rotunda is approximately 2,300 sq. ft. and its perimeter features a four-story mural called “Tour of the Universe” by world-renowned space artist Robert McCall. McCall’s artwork celebrates America’s leadership in space exploration, and another McCall mural can be seen at the Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C. An enclosed rotunda patio may also be available adjacent to the rotunda, and is an additional 1,950 sq. ft. which holds an additional 100-150 people reception-style, with seven picnic-style tables (seating for 42.)
Break Out Rooms: We have three, classroom-style break out rooms on the lower level adjacent to the rotunda: Training Room A, Training Room B (can be combined into one room), and the Peoria Room. All are equipped with internet capabilities and white boards.
Training Rooms A & B can each seat 50 and 56 in classroom style. A center wall may be retracted, and the Training Rooms can be configured as one large room.
The Peoria Room is a more intimate setting 420 sq ft. and can hold a maximum of 20 people classroom style. Perfect for a board meeting, the room also has Internet capabilities, retractable screen, and a white board.
The Theater is located on the ground level (1) of the Center and is approximately 1,154 sq. ft. This attractive room can seat up to 110 people theater-style and is perfect for corporate meetings and other special events where audio/visual components are needed.
Cosmic Cafe is located on the ground level (1) of the Center and is pre-set to banquet style (rounds) for 42, and additional rounds may be added for seating up to 80. Vending machines are located in the cafe. A shaded outside patio is available adjacent to the cafe with five picnic-style tables and seating for 30.
Rooftop Observation Deck: Level three (rooftop) features our exclusive stargazing deck, where up to 100 people can enjoy the night sky. Adding bistro tables makes the observation deck a charming corporate networking location. A telescope program is available for an additional fee.
Lower Level ++ Buy Out: For large corporate or private events, a better option may be a Lower Level Buyout of the Steele Foundation Rotunda plus the adjacent training rooms and additional levels within the facility to accommodate your function.
Evening Hours: The facility is available for evening rentals for networking functions, corporate events, social functions, proms, weddings, anniversaries, and other occasions.
