Educators will experience K-12 STEM Programs offered by Challenger Space Center Arizona throughout the school year. The day includes an introduction to Challenger’s curriculum and a sneak peak into Challenger’s unique simulator (new construction taking place this summer)!

Experience first-hand what your students will learn in Challenger’s interactive space science programs.

Challenger also provides off-site, in-the-classroom programs including a new Mobile STEM Outreach that engages NASA’s BEST (beginning engineering, science, and technology).
Additionally, educators may choose additional professional development days offered at Challenger on a regular basis. The first of each month Flight Directors go in-depth into Challenger’s internationally renowned STEM programs, developed by Challenger Centers for Space Science Education.

Educators may bring up to 3 family members who will enjoy complimentary separate special tours of the museum, exhibits, and activities while teachers experience Challenger’s educational programs.
Afterwards, a discount voucher on upcoming Challenger educational programs will be awarded to participating educators. STEM Educator Day is provided to current teachers at no charge. Continuing Education Certificates will be provided (2-hrs) for STEM Educator Day.
