Spring Break Space Science Workshops
Kids, ages 6 to 14, are invited to discover fascinating facts about the worlds around us. Each session offers age-appropriate activities and is designed to “inspire, excite and educate” each child about the wonders of space and space travel. Each workshop is $20 per session, per child. H2O Bottle Rockets
Can’t get enough of water bottle rockets? Learn the history behind NASA rockets before launching your own water rocket in this two-hour interactive class. Participants will construct a water bottle rocket; attach fins and then blast off with water and 60 lbs. of air pressure.

Heat Shield Challenge
The next generation of passenger air travel at speeds faster than sound may start as soon as 2015. Your child has been selected to submit a design for the new surface shield used for these planes. In order to win the contract, they must build a shield capable of surviving the heat of reentry and extreme environments of earth’s upper atmosphere.

*Children ages 3-6 can learn about Light & Rainbows in our Space-Tots class March 14th or 15th!
*Children 3rd grade and older can partner one of the above workshops with a Simulated Space Mission. Mom & Dad can come too!
