Week-long Camp for Kids Ages 5-12

New this year, Challenger Space Center Arizona is partnering with Play-Well TEKnologies to offer two special LEGO®-based “Cosmic Kids” camps. Play-Well TEKnologies introduces engineering, architecture and science concepts to kids, utilizing kits containing over 100,000 pieces of LEGO®. Each camp will run Monday-Friday, from 9am-12pm with classes led by trained Play-Well TEKnologies instructors. Children will work individually and cooperatively to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while having fun with a terrific building toy.

  • Pre-Engineering for ages 5-7

  • Engineering Fundamentals for ages 8-12


Camps are appropriate for children ages 5 to 12. Each camp is $169 per session, per child. Preregistration is required. Hurry...spots fill up fast; maximum enrollment for each camp is 24 children per session.

Challenger Space Center Arizona will open at 8:45 for camp students. Each camper must be escorted to and from his/her camp room each day by a parent or guardian. The camp session will end at 12:00 noon. Campers must be picked up no later then 12:15. A fee of $5 will result for every five minutes past 12:20.
