MOTHER’S DAY GIFT IDEAS FROM SPACE!
PURCHASE AN OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD GIFT FOR MOM: SEND HER TO SPACE OR NAME A STAR IN HER HONOR!

Mother’s Day is May 11th, and the Challenger Space Center has some out-of-this-world gift ideas for Mom’s special day!

Send Mom to space for Mother’s Day! Purchase simulated space flight mission passes for Mom and the whole family! Public missions fly Thursday evenings, and twice on Saturdays. Cost: $17.50/adults; $15/children. Reservations required. Call 623-322-2001 for flight availability and schedules.

Is Mom the “Star” of your family? Name a star in her honor! “Name a Star” is a unique novelty gift that lets you name a star for that special someone. The “starry-eyed” recipient receives a beautiful, colorful certificate naming the star, along with a detailed star chart to show her exactly where her star is located. If mom brings her star chart to one of the monthly Challenger Family Stargazing Night programs, the Center’s professional stargazer, Mr. Tony LaConte of Stargazing for Everyone, will show her her special place in the heavens. Price: $60 per star.

Surprise Mom with a Challenger Center Donor Tile in her honor! Help support the non-profit Challenger Center and honor Mom at the same time when you purchase a Donor Tile with Mom’s name engraved on it. Tiles are proudly displayed for all to see on the Center’s “Wall of Honor”. Tiles range in price from $100 to $1,000.
