An Exciting Introduction to Space and Science
Designed for ages 3-6

*Earth & Moon
~ How is the Earth different from other planets?  What is our closest neighbor in space?  What makes craters on the moon?  Come and explore the similarities and differences in our local space neighborhood.

Monday & Tuesday, Oct 18th & 19th ~ 9:30am-11:30am
*Living Things ~ There are many things on our planet, how many different types of creatures do you think live on Earth? Which ones are your favorites?  We will investigate plants, trees and many exciting objects from our planet.

Monday & Tuesday, Nov 15th & 16th ~ 9:30am-11:30am
*Sun & Stars ~ What is a star? Is the sun a star or a planet?  There are many objects in the sky, lets examine the qualities of the sun and stars in order to better understand what’s up there.


Join us at the Challenger Space Center as we investigate a new space science theme each month. Every Space Place adventure includes a science activity, space story and more. Space Place is designed to teach age level science standards.

Upon arrival your Future Astronaut will receive a Challenger passport to to track each new science discovery! Children that complete all nine adventures will receive a certificate of accomplishment and a prize.

Please note: this program does not run in the Summer months. Typically, the Public Space Place is scheduled on the 3rd Monday & Tuesday of each month, September-May. Occasionally, additional Space Place programs may be scheduled during holiday breaks.
