September 21, 2002 7:30pm – 9pm This is a fun family evening to enjoy the great Arizona night sky. This program is open to the general public with no reservations needed. There is a slide presentation on the constellations and planets, with information on up-coming sky events to watch for. The presentation includes stories of the night sky (folklore from many different cultures). Then join us to look through telescopes at various night sky objects (the moon, planets, star clusters, galaxies). This is an outdoor program, bring lawn chairs or blankets for your seating comfort. |
