Several friends of the Challenger Space Center have donated space and aviation related lithographs and other valuable items, many of them signed, to be enjoyed by the thousands of visitors who come to the Challenger Space Center each year.

Some of the items include:

• Canceled check dated March 15, 1919 signed by Orville Wright
• Actual front page of The San Francisco Bulletin reporting Lindberg’s New York and Paris flight, dated May 21, 1987
• Autographed photograph of Mercury astronaut and future Senator, John Glenn
• USAF Thuderbirds uniform, along with several framed photos of the famed Thunderbirds
• Piece of fabric from the Vega 5-B Aircraft flown by Amelia Earhart
• Copy of the book Yeager autographed by Chuck Yeager
• Several Ernie Rickenbacker news articles and photos
• December 3, 1928 Time Magazine Cover, featuring Orville Wright
