Education Scholarships

We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to experience space. That is why the Challenger Space Center of Arizona has funds available to help alleviate the cost of your visit. Full or partial scholarships may be awarded for mission or field trip costs only. A copy of the application may be downloaded from the link on the right side of this page.

Eligible Applicants
To qualify for scholarship funding, teachers and administrators must submit the application on behalf of a school or organization within Arizona. Applications are reviewed bi-monthly. Once the level of funding has been determined, if any, applicants will be notified in writing via mail or fax. Scholarship funds awarded need to be used in the school year funds were issued, unless otherwise stated.

Eligibility Standards
To qualify for a scholarship, applicants must meet both of the following requirements:

1. Recipient school/group must show a financial need for field trip or mission funding.
2. Recipient school/group must show how the field trip or mission will positively impact their group of students.

  A completed application must include the following

1. Complete administrative information
2. Letter of support from principal
3. Brief description of how the scholarship will benefit the school/group
4. Brief description of financial need

Within two weeks of completing your mission or field trip, you are required to submit a letter of appreciation to the Sponsoring Organization c/o Challenger Space Center. Letters of Appreciation should be submitted to:
