The Challenger Space Science Center,
also known as the Challenger Learning Center of Arizona, a world-class
space science education complex, is looking to expand our committed
cadre of passionate volunteers who help us inspire the thousands of
schoolchildren, families, corporate teams, and other visitors that
cross the Center’s elevated gantry bridge and enter the world of the
future.
Volunteers are needed to work with
students and families, lead tours, be a part of the gift shop team,
assist the community outreach program, and in many other areas.
Whether it’s once a week or once a month, anyone interested in helping
us accomplish our mission of inspiring the next generation to ‘reach
for the stars’ is welcome to apply.
The next Volunteer Meeting will be held
at the Center on Monday, January 14, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. If
interested potential volunteers would like to attend, or would like
more information about the Center and our many different volunteer
opportunities, please contact Jane Wiley, Challenger Center Volunteer
Coordinator, at 623-322-2037 or
use this form.
