Our mission at the Challenger Space Center is to “Inspire, Excite and Educate” people of all ages about the mysteries and wonders of space, science and the universe. A big part of that mission is supported through individual and corporate donations to our organization. Sponsor a field trip, a Smithsonian Exhibit or other educational program.
Companies can sponsor local schools for field trips to the Challenger Space Center, or provide support for any one of our many Smithsonian Institution sponsored public exhibits. In 2011 alone, we are proud to present to Arizona the following Smithsonian Exhibits: An Astronauts Life: Articles Flown in Space; Beyond Baseball: the Life of Roberto Clemente, and In Plane View, a historical look at aviation. In November 2011, we will once again host our popular “Gears & Galaxies” promotion in conjunction with the Valley’s NASCAR race

Book a teambuilding program at the Challenger Space Center At the Challenger Space Center, we are honored to host a number of the world’s top employers in planning and producing quality teambuilding programs. Each year hundreds of employees and middle managers from corporations such as Cox Communications, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, American Express, Go Daddy, Best Western International, Petsmart and others come to our center to enjoy an afternoon of fun, and adventure. The teambuilding programs at Challenger are designed to increase communication and quick-thinking skills in a fun, yet challenging atmosphere.

Purchase a Personal, Family or Corporate Membership
A membership to the Challenger Space Center is a wonderful way to experience our award-winning science and space programs. We have individual, family and corporate memberships available which include free admission to the center, special invitations to exclusive previews and guest speaker programs, members-only discounts in our gift shop and more. Sponsor Our Spring, Fall and Summer Camp Programs
Our summer camp program offers exceptional opportunities for children to keep “learning alive” during the summer months. Filled with hands-on activities and learning opportunities, your organization can sponsor the activities for just one week or the entire 8-week summer camp program. Donate to our Field Trip Assistance Fund
Each year, we hear from teachers all over Arizona asking for some kind of assistance in paying for field trips for their classes. Our Challenger Field Trip Assistance Fund, sponsored by many of our corporate partners, is a chance for us, and you, to give back to our community, and show your support for education. Teachers apply for this Assistance Fund, and a committee awards specific dollar amounts based on need and other economic indicators. Individuals can sponsor local schools for field trips to the Challenger Space Center and may be eligible to receive a State of Arizona Tax Credit.* Call 623-322-2001 for more information.

Book the Challenger Space Center for a Corporate Meeting or Holiday party
Did you know that you can book the Challenger Center for a board meeting, presentation or a banquet? Our Rotunda offers the perfect background for a reception, meeting or special event. It can seat up to 200 people in a theatre style setting and is equipped with a sound system and projection screen. In addition, we have a state-of-the-art theater with rear-screen projection, DVD, VHS and computer connectivity. All rooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access as well.
