Challenger Space Center Field Trip Assistance's Fund help schools that demonstrate financial need through participation in government assistance programs (Free and Reduced Lunch Program, Aid to Families with Dependent Children, Title 1) .
Field Trip Assistance funds are available for school programs provided Throughout the year.
This program is funded completely by the generosity of corporations and individuals in our community that share our mission to provide quality STEM education to ALL Arizona Students.
Because of this shared commitment, we are called upon to not only demonstrate the needs of the community these awards are given to, but also to provide feedback from the children themselves about their experience at the Challenger.
We respectfully request that as a participant in this program a Pre-Evaluation is submitted by the teacher before the Field Trip, and that your kids write us a note after to let us know how they felt about their time with us. These are invaluable in enabling us to continue to provide this program in the years to come!
Simply fill out the Request Field Trip Information Form, the link can be found below. At the bottom of the form there is a downloadable application for our Field Trip Assistance Program. Just fill it out, and submit it with your Request for Information.
Please do your best to complete the form in it's entirety. It is a vital tool in helping us to assist you in making this program available to your class.
Note: Submission of your application is not a guarantee of funds. Field Trip Assistance forms are reviewed throughout the school year pending review from our Scholarship Review Committee, and funding will be granted in accordance with need.
