END-OF-SUMMER COSMIC KIDS CAMP 2014

   7 a.m. to 6 p.m.


$30 per child / per day (3 day minimum)

Please note that this program is recreation-based and while Challenger Space Center does offer quality curriculum-based programs during the school year and also during our official Adventures In Space Summer Camp program, this program is not curriculum based. Planned activities will be delivered from 9am - 4pm.

Camps are appropriate for children ages 5 to 12. Each camp is $30 per child, per day (3 day minimum) or $135 per child for all 5 days (a 10% savings!) Preregistration is required. Hurry...spots fill up fast!! Each child must bring a non-refrigerated sack lunch.

Challenger Space Center Arizona will open at 7:00 am for camp students. Each camper must be escorted to and from his/her camp room each day by a parent or guardian. Please bring a photo ID to pick-up your camper.  The camp session will end at 6:00 pm. Campers must be picked up no later then 6:00pm. A fee of $5 will result for every five minutes past 6:00pm.

Planned Mission to Mars with LEGO® building Systems

Your child can become a Play-Well TEKnologies Aerospace Engineer! With over 100,000 pieces of LEGO® take on the Engineering challenge of going to Mars!

With the guidance of a Play-Well TEKnologies instructor, campers will build launch systems, orbital transfer vehicles and surface exploration systems. Campers will explore concepts in physics, mechanical and structural engineering, architecture and space travel systems.

Maximum enrollment: 24 children per session.
